If you are driving your car or have rented a vehicle, the prime spot to park is directly outside the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in their public parking lots. Parking cost is $7.00 per day in which you can pay at an on-site kiosk or via a mobile app. The Vistor Center is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. There are a few hundred parking spots available, but arriving early can assure you a parking spot as they fill up fast. Going via a taxi, shuttle service, or ride share app will free you of the stress that comes with trying to secure a parking spot. Note that there are no entrance fees to visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, museums, the park film, and grounds. The cost comes when you visit the USS Missouri Battleship, USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine, and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Reserving tickets through Pearl Harbor Tickets will assure you a ticket as standby tickets at the Visitor Center are limited and the first come, first serve distribution has been discontinued.
